Server logs: standard technical logs (IP address, request path) on our EU server (Hetzner, Helsinki), retained briefly for security and abuse prevention. Submission rate limiting uses IP in memory only.
Eyewitness reports (UGC): only what you submit (text, optional alias, optional photo/video link). Anonymous submission is supported and encouraged where safety is a concern. Reports are human-reviewed before publication and can be removed on request.

Map tiles: CARTO / OpenStreetMap (your IP is visible to the tile server when loading the map).
Place search: Photon (komoot) — search text is forwarded, proxied via our server.
Delivery: Cloudflare (proxy/CDN), Hetzner (hosting, EU).
